We were called to the back yard by our German Shorthair, Sadie, because this little turtle was trying to cross through our yard. Poor turtle!! He was so scared.....he stayed in his shell for quite a while! The kids named him Turtles Speedy. He lived in our window well for a short time.....they were pretty excited for about - well, maybe 3-4 days. Then Matt decided that the turtle would be oh so happy living in our garden - eternally. Maybe the kids think he is still back there??? Ahh.......
