I SPY......a rocking chair?????

Can you find a rocking chair in this picture??????

It now looks like this. Matt and I re-finished this chair that we rescued out of an old abandoned church in Nekoma, KS. We got permission from the owner to go inside and see if there was anything that we wanted....he was very nice and we rescued some furniture and some memorabilia that dates back to my mom and aunt's school days. My aunt Debi and my mom's husband, Dwight, went along on one trip and we had a lot of fun sifting through all the "stuff". Stay tuned for more projects......

Live From Saturday Night.......

Well...it was bound to happen! Cyvannah got glasses. Three down to to go in our house! She is officially a mini-me. She loves them and we think she looks pretty cute!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone......

Matt took me out to dinner for Valentine's Day and I sent him a cupid name Tyrone that delivered chocolates ( I think most of you saw the pics)...anyway it was a nice day...thanks Mimi for watching the kiddos while we went! Hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day with your loved ones!

P.S. - Yes, this is ANOTHER Valentine's Day wreath I made for both of our moms as gifts. It is made out of a hanger, burlap and a ribbon...love it!

Valentine's Wreath...another craft!

Yes sirreee....here is another AWESOME craft!! This was made out of a styrofoam heart and little circles of red felt folded in half twice and then pinned into the styrofoam with a stick pin. It was super easy and I just love how it turned out!

Tooth Fairy is BROKE......

Cayden and Vanna decided this was the weekend for pulling teeth....they get a slightly loose tooth and they wrench and wiggle and whine until they eventually get it out! Cayden decided to pull two of his baby molars and Vanna just got one.......the Tooth Fairy left them both gold dollars. WOW!!!

Daddy Daughter Date Night....2010

Now, the first two pictures were the fake ones that everyone tries to capture....the last two are what the real situation was......yep - she's TWO!!!!! They had a great time....Cyvannah was lucky to have both of her dads there with her and Carlee wanted to leave right after dinner.....as the music for the dance was TOO OUD.....(Loud!) I think I love this for the girls more than they do - but, that is ok!!
