Diva Day at our house.....

It was dress up day at our house.....

Then, we had a mini photo shoot (with the help of photo shop) for Cyvannah.....she told me that she KNOWS why she is so pretty - "it's because of my pretty blue eyes.."

I couldn't agree with her more! He He.....I love them!

7 going on 20.....wheww......

Snack time with bunny.....

Lately, we have come to love our little Build a Bear Workshop Bunny. When we got her, the only name Carlee could say was her own - so, the bunny's name is Car Car. This bunny takes a nap with us everyday and we have dressed and undressed her about 512,000 times!

Our day with Papa.....Great Papa...

My grandpa is visiting for a couple of weeks to try to learn how to walk with 2 canes instead of a walker. He is staying with my Aunt Debi and she is working with him - but, we got him for a Saturday and did we have a full day planned for him! First, we went to the Farm and Art Market - which was fun. He made some friends and was able to sit and visit and talk "Farm" talk. Next, we ate cinnamon rolls from Great Harvest Bread (Thanks Aunt Debi :)) Next, we put him and Carlee down for naps - he he. Then, after they woke up we headed off to the zoo. He had it easy there - we didn't make him walk! The weather was nice and cool...we had all the kids and it was a great day!! We love you Grandpa!

P.S - notice poopy pants way in the background pouting because she didn't want to get in the picture - ha! got her in there anyway......

Our BABY is 2!!!!!!

I am sad and glad. Sad for me - glad for her! I can't BELIEVE it's been two years.....here are some random pics from her special day. We haven't had a party yet - that's coming up in a couple of weeks. BUT, Mimi and Memaw and Aunt Cissi came over and brought presents and people called on the phone - Vanna's class even sang Happy Birthday to her....whew it was a busy day! I love
the last picture...she ended her birthday doing her favorite thing - eating CHOCOLATE!!

Happy Birthday Baby girl - we LOVE you!

Scaredy Cat

Carlee is going through the typical scared stage that comes with age 2......when she goes to bed (yes, she still sleeps in our bed - and we LOVE it) she sometimes gets scared about something and this is how we find her....I guess hiding under the covers still makes it all better!

Little Feet.....

I love little feet....this is always what I see when we are getting ready to eat and it just makes me smile...little piggies peeking out from the chair....thought I would share my smiles with you!

First Day of School 2009

Ahh.....the first day of school is here - FINALLY!!!!

Cayden is in 5th grade this year and Cyvannah is in 2nd grade. We have AWESOME teachers so we are very excited! Vanna is still young enough to pose for a picture with her teacher but, I had to sneak this picture of Cayden standing in the hallway....he's too cool for mom stuff!

Dad takes the older kids fishing....

Last year, we went to a pond close to our house and caught a bunch of baby catfish. We took them to a new pond at Matt's office and let them all go to see if they would grow for this year. The did grow and now we have our own little catfish store....Matt made filets and grilled them - they tasted pretty good! Poor fishies.....

Our Homemade fly swatter.....

This right here is why I had kids. Carlee just slaps on the sparring helmet and grabs the old fly swatter and goes to town....it is pretty funny to watch!

Did I tell you that I LOVE chocolate?

Happy Birthday Cyvannah!!

Our oldest baby girl turns 7!! We had a Hawaiian birthday party for her......I THINK she had fun. We love you Vanny!

Happy 25th Wedding Anniversary Uncle Mark and Aunt Ann!!

My Aunt Ann and Uncle Mark celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary recently and they got a surprise party at their church in LaCrosse to help celebrate! Congratulations! Here are some random pics of the family....

Reading with MiMi

Carlee loves to read. Carlee loves glasses. Carlee loves to read with MiMi's glasses. Here is the result!

Our FIRST haircut!!

We took Carlee for her first haircut! Almost 2 and just now getting our first one! She did awesome.....hilarious facial expressions - and didn't mind a bit! Cyvannah got a new "do" also - just in time for school to start!

We know how to eat chocolate!!

WE LOVE CHOCOLATE!!!!

A peaceful getaway (as peaceful as 3 kids get anyway)

I have a friend that has a family cabin on Monkey Island at Grand Lake. We stayed there for a couple of days in July and I think it is the most I have relaxed in a long time. The kids caught one catfish and like I told my friend - if fish could drown - this poor little catfish would have as much as the kids kept lifting up and down out of the water to check on him! We had a great time - makes me want to get one of these little cabins for myself to escape away to! I look forward to going back....

What Not To Wear.....

Now all you fashionistas....don't steal this look - I have the patent...

We go through about 5 different outfits a day - and most of the clothes are not even ours! They are sissy's and brothers and mom's and dad's......God Bless her!

Happy 37th Birthday Daddy!!

Happy Birthday to you...
Happy Birthday to you...
Happy Birthday to the oldest person in our household (he he)
Happy Birthday to you!!

We love you Baby!

A Dog Siesta....

This picture cracks me up. Matt called me to the kitchen to look at Sadie, our short hair. This is what I saw.....she is actually ASLEEP! Her head was just hanging there - she is the goofiest dog. I guess everyone has their own way of relaxing...although mine is not hanging my head off the side of a deck while taking a nap....

4th of July

Well, the 4th of July this year started off and painfully continued with a bang for about 3 days. I used to love 4th of July...now, since I have 2 firebugs (Matt and Cayden) that make me wonder every year if we are still going to have a house before it's over - I really could do without it! Carlee wasn't quite scared of them yet this year - so, I have attached some random pictures of her being safe with the headset - well, actually, it works better when it covers your ears - but, she had the right idea!

So, as I worried about the house - Carlee made her own bang by falling off of the back of the couch while watching the big kids shoot fireworks out the window. She completely busted her nose open. No stitches - but, a double bloody noise and lots of owwwiieess......poor baby!
