We are almost out of teeth....

Cyvannah has lost her final tooth - I think.  She had better slow down because she's going to be eating out of a straw before long!  Wish you could have all been here for this...she nursed that tooth for a week....it was ready to come out.  Last night, she walked around with a wet wipe on it for about 3 hours.  So, Matt finally said, hey - let me see how loose it is...well, once he got a hold of it - one good yank and it was out....I think Cyvannah stopped crying after about 20 minutes....it didn't hurt and he barely pulled....it's just the whole drama effect.....it was pretty funny.  We started talking like we didn't have any teeth and it turned into a mixture of crying/laughing....so - all is well.  The tooth fairy made an appearance and left her a gold dollar....lucky girl!

Our latest creation...

I am so proud of this...I have a function coming up at my office and I wanted to make a "cupcake" tower.  So - I enlisted Matt's help and this is what we came up with.....this isn't quite finished as I need to add some flowers - and, the party is Thursday - so, I will show you a finished project after I get all of the cupcakes on it..I am excited to see it.  Thanks to my hubby for building it...he's so good!!

Spring snow storm anyone?

Well....remember the post a few back - a warm 80 degree day? Well, that was short lived...our weather is SO weird!!  This was just 4 short days ago......a blizzard.  The girls and I were having a little fun trying to catch the snowflakes (Cayden wasn't home or he'd have been right in the middle of it too).  As you can see the snowflakes are HUGE....

No more room at the inn....

Well - this is what Matt and I came home to in our bed the other night when Mimi was watching her....(and yes, for all of you sighing...she STILL sleeps with us!!!)  She's a good mommy.......

Book of the month club.....

I know - you are probably thinking Carlee Carlee Carlee - but, I couldn't resist sharing this picture.  She is the funniest kid...she sits on a little piece of wood that Matt has by his dresser to stretch his calves out before he goes to sleep - and she usually gets a book (she is really into them these days) and her juice cup.  There is one book that seems to be her favorite and I can't get her to leave it alone even though I have tried hiding it and putting it away.....if you look close you can see the title....Mother's guide to breastfeeding.  I guess she's getting educated? Ha!  She has "found" other things in our bedroom (nothing weird - just things that are hidden) that she just innocently brings out into the living room and I about have a heart attack....so - we have decided we are not having any company until she is 5 and understands that mom and dads drawers, closets, etc are off limits!

Just breaks my heart.....

Most days, we have a routine....and when the kids get home from school - it it's nice - they run to play with the neighbors.  Unfortunately, that leaves Carlee inside alone.  So, she drags this little chair out of Vanna's room and sits in front of the door and watches the kids play. So, when Matt and I just can't stand it anymore - I take her outside for a walk or Matt sits on the porch with her.  She is definitely an outdoor baby.  She's going to love the lake this summer!!

Dancing with the Stars.....

Carlee is really into dancing these days....now, I wish I had video of the older kiddos - but, they have grown all shy and won't be seen doing this stuff...Carlee doesn't care....we should all be this carefree........it certainly keeps us entertained!!!

This is Cyvannah's 1st grade music program....it was very cute and they worked very hard on it!! Yeehaw!!

The cheapest dog groomer ever.....

Matt decided that after a few days outside - Izzy needed a haircut.  Instead of going to the groomers - he saved some money and did it himself.  Poor Izzy.  The thing that cracks me up the most is the long stray cluster of hair that hangs off the side of her chin.  Poor dog - does anyone know a good dog therapist?

A sneak preview of spring....

Hi all! I bet you thought I fell off the face of the earth!!  It has been a long month for us - hard to keep everyone well.  I am "pooped" at the end of most days...but, I think we are finally on the mend!!!  We did manage to sneak a few hours in at the zoo at the beginning of March on an unusually warm day.  It was just Carlee, Matt and I and we just let her run.  All those animals and she loved the ducks the best - or the "gucks" as she calls them.  She was so excited!  There was a lady walking her bird but, Carlee was not that excited about it.  She apparently made a noise that Carlee didn't care for as you can see in the pic.  Anyway - it was a nice preview to spring.....it's just around the corner!!
